The work we do can be split into four key areas. Process improvement, Change management, Coaching and Development & Training. However, they are not mutually exclusive and our work often combines two or more of these areas.
ICD's aim is to enable its clients to succeed. It's a simple concept and at its heart is a core belief that all processes can be improved, however to know how to do so is not always obvious and certainly not easy.
There are a number of different approaches taken to process improvement including process re-engineering, lean, six sigma, DMAIC, etc.
ICD has a wide experience in delivering process improvement using different techniques in many types of organisation in both the public and private sector.
"It's not the progress I mind, it's the change I don't like." Mark Twain
Most change programmes are about improving your existing processes or systems or implementing new ones. Your staff then need to adapt to these new ways of working and they may well require support and/or training to do so.
The key question is how many processes, systems and people are going to be effected and how severely - this is the scale of change
ICD has the skills to help you through this process.
"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new." Albert Einstein
Coaching is not about giving advice or being judgemental. People use a coach normally because they want to achieve or change something. They are often looking for new ways to think through an issue either personal or work related and develop options for moving forward.
People's experience of coaching differs but some outcomes may be an improved sense of direction & focus, increased motivation and resilience (e.g. ability to handle change)
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela
We're not trying to change the world but investing in yourself and/or your staff is one of the critical factors in achieving success.
We can develop and deliver tailor made training packages in areas such as project management, process improvement and business planning.
